The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum High School diploma and/or relevant Post Secondary diploma or degree
Working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel and IT browsing knowledge), easy performance at WEB platforms.
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment
Proven analytical and decision making abilities as well as internal/external customer service skills
Specific duties include:
Purchasing relating to the marine industry as required under the direction of a Senior Negotiator / Senior Customer Services.
Prioritizing and expediting critical material within sensitive timelines
Purchasing support consisting of: data research, contract coordination, maintaining data base, and fielding customer inquiries and investigating / reconciliation of price discrepancies
Supply Chain Management duties consisting of inventory management and material handling duties.
